Diagnoses

Trigger Finger/Thumb

If you find that your finger/thumb locks in a bent position, you may have trigger finger/thumb.   This can be quite painful and my splint will stop the finger/thumb

Radial Nerve injury

A person with this injury is unable to straighten their wrist and fingers, making it very difficult to pick up items. This splint restores much function to the hand while waiting for nerves to grow.

DeQuervain’s tenosynovitis

If you have been diagnosed with DeQuervain's tenosynovitis, the linings of the tendons that pull the thumb up and out sideways are inflamed and need rest.  It is important that both the thumb and the wrist are included in this splint.

Scaphoid fracture

This splint may be recommended while a carpal bone is healing, so that you can have support, and protection but still be able to remove the splint for cleaning.
